Im in the same boat...I didnt make it either...no money for gas. Its looking i will be out of the game for a little while. Things are happening here at work that makes the future look very dim. Dont think i will make the fightertown game the 20th and dont know when ill be back out ballin. I have about 1/2 case of paint to go through and that is about it.
We all need to do a beans and beer camping trip to get away from the work or lack of work bullshit for a weekend.....

I feel you guys!! This is my last week at work. I am so fuckin sick of this whole economy thing.I keep trying to stay positive, but I also have to be real. You're right Greg, I'ts going to be a pretty ugly year.It's never a waist of time when I get to come out and B.S with you guys.Plus we hung out and talked to Brian for a while.He's looking at taking 4 of those lights.I am so down to do a no frills camping trip.Pass a bottle of crown around the camp fire with some good folks,and Flip the bird To this economy!!...Atleast for one night

Guess I'm in almost the same boat as El Dude, I'm just here until the doors close forever. This sucks. This morning I'll get on the phone with Child Support Enforcement and start planning what I need to do in a couple weeks.

I had planned on playing Fightertown in a couple weeks but that probably won't happen, just have to start saving every penny possible. This weekend it's another garage sale, trying to sell everything possible to pay the bills.

At this point I'd almost be up for a beans and uh, coffee camping trip myself!

I am hoping things are finally looking up for me, being unemployed since July sucks ***THANKS OBAMA!! ****

I have another interview on the 18th, this will be my 5th or 6th with the same company, and I finally get to meet with them face to face, I hate phone interviews. It is very hard to read the interviewer... anyway, I have a very good feeling about this one so hopefully on the 18th I will be getting a job offer from these people, it will be nice after talking to them on the phone for the last 1.5 months. If I am hired it looks like I willo be making a trip to Minnesota shortly after I am hired...not looking forward to a week or so in the frozen white tundra, but I will live! It will just be nice to have a job again!

It's times like these that make you really make you cry. Not because people are losing work , paycuts or having to work "5 JOBS MON" (refer to In Living Colors Jamacon' Family) But because we feel we have been climbing the hill of life, avoiding landslides and choosing the safest path to travel, making sure that you have your footing before you take the next step forward. You don't quit and you look to your buds for support and leads. Know this we are all hurting one way or another and if you need help, ask.
